Today is the day. I have decided to snap out of my apathy that has hung around me like a funeral shroud the past few days.
I was systematically killing my time and days with no hopes about a bright future, a job or a happy life. I was mechanically forcing myself to feel better being the underdog. Forcing myself to wallow in self pity and take pleasure in the pain it produced.
I was turning into a masochist.
I am stopping it right here. Right now. I know what has been pulling me down. I know how to handle it. My defense is in a few days and then I shall be Gayathri,BE,MS Mechanical engineering.
My future lies open in my hands. Not in any others. Defeats, victories, happiness and joy alternate in this never ending cycle of life.
I am not falling prey to the ennui that Arjuna was quelled of by my Lord, Sarathy.
With these inpiring words, I begin. Yet another journey!

There was a dolai at my periappa's place today and azhagiyasingar in his upanyasam spoke about arjuna and krishnar. He said that a person very devoted to perumaal is so dear to perumaal that the person becomes the antaratma to perumaal itself. So i think its difficult to say as to who really is pulling the strings ;)
